The ultimate backcountry Liner!

Clear
Quantity:

PRO TOUR liners are best for back-country, tele, and touring applications. A lace up, tongue style liner available in 3 Volumes: HV (High Volume, thickest), MV (Medium Volume), and LV (Low Volume, thinnest), to accommodate a range of shell fits. These dual-density, light weight liners feature a softer flexing lay-up, and a roomy toe box for maximum comfort on long tours. The strategic rear panel increases range of motion for tour-ability while the stiff upper cuff offers solid support and responsiveness, enhancing performance both ascending and descending.

This model can be worn ‘out of the box’, heat molded with the home fit kit or fit by a professional boot fitter.

The Pro Tour liner has the option of replacement tongues…the Flex Tongue which comes stock in the Pro Tour or the Power Tongue. The Flex Tongue is stiff at the top with flex at the bottom. The Power Tongue is stiff all the way down. The Flex and Power Tongues are available in Medium and High Volume thicknesses. Check out our replacement PRO TOUR TONGUES

VOLUME

*Checking Shell Fit
In order to determine the right thickness (volume) of liner for you, start by checking your shell fit. To do this, pull the existing liner out of the shell. Stand with your bare foot inside the bare shell, and move your foot all the way forward so that your toes are touching the end. Bend your knee and flex forward a bit so that you can slide your hand or even a pencil into the shell behind your leg. How many fingers can you fit between your heel and the shell?

One finger (1/2″) or less – Low Volume
One – two fingers (1/2″-11/4″) – Medium Volume
More than two fingers (1 1/2″ +) – High Volume

SIZE

*What size is your shell?
Our liners run in full sizes so if your shell size is (for example a size 25), you should get a size 25 liner, the same size as your shells. If your shell is a half size (for example a size 24.5) you should round up or down a half size depending on the list below.

FIT KIT

Most of our liner models can be custom molded at home with the home fit kit. Some of the stiffer wrap models can be more challenging to fit at home so we recommend taking them to a shop or professional boot fitter.

The Intuition Home fit kit includes 1 pair of stockings, a rubber toe cap and instructions.
